FlavorActiV Global Sensory Manager for Africa Zone
Tuesday, 20 June 2018
Equal to invaluable equipment, the sensory panel is one of the most important tools in deciding whether a product will be accepted and appreciated by the consumer, or not.
As essential as it is to calibrate equipment, so important is it to calibrate the sensory panel…whether it be calibration of panelists to each other at one site, or panels between departments or sites, or between panels in different countries…
Is the exact same calibrated measurement being taken by every panelist?
A fully trained and monitored sensory tasting panel brings human validation to the detailed analytical outputs of sensory instruments. The considered combination of both human and instrument sensory is where FlavorActiV adds huge value and mitigates risk for brand owners
