Summary of Work Experience:
• Microbiology laboratory
o Monitoring and recording received microbiological samples for micro analysis.
o Sterilization (autoclaving) and incubation of micro laboratory utensils.
o Autoclaving of disposal microbiological waste.
o Maintenance of water baths (cleaning and verification of temperatures).
o Preparation of media for micro analysis.
o Sampling and performing microbiological analysis on water, raw and finished products.
o Counting and recording micro results in microbiology laboratory.
o Cleaning and validation of equipment (incubators and autoclaves).
o Reporting of non-conformances.
o Testing of allergens, and swabbing of equipment in production areas.
• Analytical lab
o Preparation of samples and testing for sensory evaluation (including triangle test).
o Keep a safe and clean working environment in the laboratory.
o Calibrate instruments and manage recalibration schedules.
o Preparation of sugar solution and citric solution used for sensory evaluation.
o Carry out routine testing in accordance with work instructions using specialized laboratory equipment (GC analysis, moisture analysis, salt analysis including CPK, bulk density, particle size, pH analysis, density and refractive index analysis and refractometer).
o Storage of reference standards and approved batches samples in the shuttle.
o Assist in customer complaints investigation.
o Assist in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
o Manage laboratory inventory and maintain consumable supplies.
o Action any initiatives as directed by QC Department.
o Publishing of work procedures for new analytical instruments.
o Compound formulations given.
• Preventative Maintenance
o Supervise artisans in daily planning/work schedule.
o Represent the engineering team on Occupational Health and Safety and HACCP meetings.
o Ensure all audit findings for the engineering department are closed out.
o Conduct GMP audits in the factory.
o Conduct inspections on the company’s list of critical equipment list such as the Nauta Blender, Homogenizer, etc.
o Be the middle man between the artisans and the Manager.
o Monitor the stock and order if necessary, and signing off deliveries.
o Ensure every job card request is completed and filed.
o File documents (service reports-in-house and external).
o Sending invoices for payment.
o Labeling of containers and ensuring all chemicals have MSDS.
